"The Assassination of Fred Hampton"

"The Assassination of Fred Hampton" is a 2011 book written by Jeffrey Haas.

This book recounts the assassination of Fred Hampton through Jeffrey Haas's personal account. Jeffrey Haas is an attorney and co-founder of the People's Law Office. His clients included members of the Black Panther Party, Students for a Democratic Society, and prominent community activists. This book is a depiction of how Haas and a partner of the People's Law Office pursued Fred Hampton's assassins. The two ultimately prevailed over unlimited government resources and FBI conspiracy.  This book is not only a story of justice, but a story which places Fred Hampton in a new light as a dynamic and charismatic community leader. Fred Hampton was truly an inspiration in the fight against injustice.
